Can anyone out there tell me how I can find out if these 2 paph's have a registered name. I just got the 1st one and it is huge.
Paph. Hsinying Majaku '#'7 x Paph. Hsinying Citron '#5'
and
Paph. Hsinying Majakun ((Makuli-Curtisii)-Maudiae) X Paph.(Maudiae "Napa Valley" HCC/AOS X Sib)
thanks

When you checked, did you spell the names all the way out ? I mean Paphiopedilum ? It's kind of finicky about that and I tried but can never get it to work with abbreviations !

For your 1st one listed, OrchidWiz shows a Paph. Hsinying Majakun (with an 'N' on the end). Crossed with Hsinying Citron it does have a hybrid name of Paph. Hilo Green.
I'll look for the other one also

Your 2nd one doesn't show a name in OrchidWiz, although I am one update behind.

The 2nd one is Paph. Hsinying Majakun, the cross indicated checks out in the RHS database (curtisii is considered a variety/synonym of superbiens).

But that is crossed with Paph.(Maudiae "Napa Valley" HCC/AOS X Sib) and the two crossed together don't show a registered hybrid name.
