I love these. I think the dorsal should open a bit more mine took several days though.

I thought true Maudiae were always this colour, I've not seen the alba applied to it before. There are a lot of similar hybrids sold as Maudiae type and some growers label these similar hybrids as Maudiae when they are not a true Maudiae. I have a dark purple one that is a Maudiae type.

I could be wrong about that though. I'm not an expert, just someone who loves these
