Howard - You didn't mention if this was it's first blooming, if it is, I wouldn't worry too much. It may open further on future bloomings. Paph venustum usually has a very erect dorsal. The pouch is wonderful. I would definitely give it another chance.

Thanks Glengary. Yes, it is it's 1st blooming and I know many Paphs do this. I love this flower also and it is a keeper whether it opens more erect next time or not.
