Which type of paphs?
Today I added some new paphs to my collection but they only had one label - I knew this before I got them. Unfortunately I only saw the one label after I had potted up everything and I have no idea which one it belonged to. The label says "Paph. Venustum fma. album sib (MH-1 x 'Miaohua' BM/TPS)". That isn't the problem. My Problem is working out which type these paphs are. Any ideas?

....and good luck with that! But I do like the foliage of the one that's to the left-centre underneath the big middle one at the top (if that makes sense!). I'd love to know what that one is!

I would too! He may have slipped in a jewel orchid too, just for the hell of it, as is his wont.

I'm not looking for the individual name of each flower but more of "well, the one with stripes is possibly the blah blah type". I think it's likely that the big one is the Venustum, maybe ALL the stripy ones Venustums. do stripy paphs normally lot hot growing or are stripy paphs intermediate growers?

Yes, I forgot to say. Another orchid freak on the UK forum arrived at the same conclusion. Thank you!

Paph. venustum has mottled leaves. So the one in the largest pot, the pot to the right of that and the one just below are venustum. The other 5 appear to be a strap leaf type of some sort. You won't really know what they are until one of them blooms.

I found out what the other paph was! They are Paph. venustum var. measuresianum and Paph. tranlienianum! Deep joy.
