you have to buy them small and hide them under other ones. then all the sudden, they grow up over night and are on the shelf in full bloom!! I'll be damned it was the orchid fairy again

I love these guys, but I have absolutey no luck with them. I'm on my second or third one now. It had one bloom that lasted about a week last year, and it's now just sitting there, doing nothing. Oh well.

RJ thanks for the new twist on orchid lies. I have been running thin on new ways to say the same thing.

so much bloom on the end of the spike they have to stay moist..If they go dry, gravity pulls the water from the top down to save the roots. If theres a flower or bud, yup you guessed it ,it will drop..Keep them in higher light and moist all the time and yours will grow many blooms

Do they also require quite a bit of fertilizer? I'm relatively new to paph's (had this one for about 8 months and another for almost 2 years but still no blooms). I have recently begun understanding the amount of water they need and have new leaf growths. However, my understanding from my new research seemed to indicate that good and regular fertilizing is also highly recommended for blooms on these guys. Just an FYI: I'm not that rigorous yet about fertilizing - sometimes I do and sometimes I just don't, lol...
