Default Three new Paphs!!!!

My Paph. Macabre finally has some company!

Ordered these from Incredibleorchids on Ebay and they arrived today in perfect condition. I've even already checked the roots and they look great!

Left to right: Paph. liemianum x gardinerii 'The Best'; Paph. phillipinense x lowii; Paph. Supersuk 'Eureka' x Raisin Pie 'Hsinying'

The Supersuk has one new and one mature growth and is over 15 inches tall from base to dorsal. 'The Best' has one mature growth and 3 immature growths at various stages, from near blooming to just starting to grow and it's only 7 inches tall! The phillipinense x lowii has a 16 inch leaf span and is only NBS. I think I may have bought a monster with that one but I'll make room for it.

Way to go Evan. They look to be some nice choices.

Nice choices Evan. Supersuk x Raisin Pie = Hsinying Alien. phillipinense x lowii = Paph. Berenice. I can't find a species called gardinerii in OrchidWiz or on ISOPE, so can't help with the registered name on that one.

Thanks Terri! I was just going off of what the tags say. I like Hsinying Alien and Berenice. Those are a lot shorter to say! I couldn't find gardinerii on IOSPE either, but I did find gardineri (one less "i" lol), so I'm assuming the label is incorrect. According to IOSPE, gardineri is currently glanduliferum, but again just wrote what the tag says.

Thanks everyone! I'm really excited to have these guys! They're all so cool in their own way! And the range of different kinds should start to give me an idea of which will do best in my conditions.

OK, Paph. liemianum x glanduliferum = Paph. Herbert Bernhart. Sometimes OrchidWiz doesn't find the old names and sometimes it does. Anywho....

Thanks Bolero! Although I can't take credit for the growth or the blooms because I took the pics right after they arrived. But I haven't killed them yet! I can even tell that they've grown just a wee bit.
