Default new growths paph farm

I dont have any pcis of anything else to post and I feel left out somewhat so I show you my new growth paph farm

all have bloomed, all but 2 I know what they are. When they bloom I will know what they are..

I divided a few bec when I re=potted them they literally came apart by themselves...They will separate very easily when they are ready..And figures in to my theory about the dead roots in the pots where from the old plants..

When I did this I also found the source of the few mealys I have been spotting..You know they try to run where ya going big boy SQWASH!!! I didnt have anything to do so I picked them hairy little ugly boogers out one by one with a magnifying lens and mashed em up like taters..

but the plant that had them they really chewed some leaf up on it..

all clean now and ready for blooms!!!

when the sticks get dry time to water

thanks

The plant that had the mealy's had 2 growths with buds. they eat the buds leaf and the buds died

That plant had been problematic. I never could find the bugs before bec they hid deep down in the leaf crease right next to the base of the plant. very difficult to dig them out or even see them

Very nice looking plants RJ ...what are they growing in ? I see Hydrotron and bark plus some charcoal I think ...but would like a little advice for a good medium ...my coloratum is actually doing great in the rice hulls and new growths are coming up all aroun the old one that tried to bloom this winter but blasted the spike ....I did back off on watering a bit but realy think it was my first use of physan at too high a mix that got to it ...used 2 tabelspoons per gal ...DUH instead of teaspoons ...but lol the black crud has been controlled this winter pretty darn well ....

all of the above plus sphagnum, weathered lava rock, some hydroton and aliflor.

A very complex mix of whatever I have

most are in the better gro special orchid mix with some junk tossed into the pot on top to hold it down some when I water...

Im not disliking the better gro mix but I am finding out that the plants really need a lot of careful watering with it.
Sphagnum is working out on a few plants very nicely and doesnt need watered so often. Just cant leave the moss soaking wet. Im very much in a state of flux here on whats best for me...

I have one thats gone full hydroton in a glass vase. I just roll the vase around with a little water in it and wet the roots and done Ill got pic of this one tomorrow a glaucophylum gone hydro with a fresh bloom and 2 working buds

Its really how you water the plant in the mix you decide to use...
