Default Paph Vanguard

This multifloral just opened a couple of days ago. I was going to wait until all the flowers had opened but I'm just too impatient!

The plant is gorgeous. I'm also intrigued by the photograph. Is it "macro stacked?" How did you get the background like that?

No Connie, it's a really BAD job of using Photoshop to make my background darker because the light rendered it too gray.

Oh good! I thought maybe there was something wrong with my eyes. Honestly I think it would be less distracting without the photoshopping.

The flower is beautiful Howard. You do such a nice job with Paphs. I wish I had room for some of the big multi-florals.

What an Artsy photo! Lovely Paph as well! Did you try and use a brush to paint in a darker colour over the dark grey?? Just curious. I am currently taking a Photoshop level 2 course at the university. It would be a tough subject to select with all the little hairs on it.
