Default A few delenatii primary hybrids in bloom












The first two are Magic Lantern. The first bloom fell off yesterday but I got lucky and there is a second bud that should bloom in a few days.

The third one is lynleigh koopowitz, the fourth one is armeni white and the fifth one is deperle. The last picture is the group picture of the three that are in bloom now. Hopefully I'll get a picture with all 4 together.

I bought these all in bud off eBay so it's not good growing but good buying.

I thought that DePerle was supposed to be a white, rather than a pinkish, flower?

Idaho, the white form is (delenatii x primulinum flavum) and the pink form is (delenatii x primulinum purpurascens).

Dorothy, the Armeni White and the Deperle came from orchidsolo (aka Orchids of Los Osos) and Michael Glikbarg. They have a website as well Orchids of Los Osos. I got some really nice plants from him. Spend $100 and get free shipping.

The Magic Lantern and Lynleigh Koopowitz came from springwater orchids. I've ordered a bunch of orchids from Thanh Nguyen and even met him at a show in Vero. He has good stuff as well.
