Default Paph Jean Francois Pastuer..nOT!!

care to help ID this one..?

this was marked "Paph Jean Francois Pastuer". You can see it here..http://www.orchidsoflososos.com/stor...ge.439x550.jpg It looks nothing like the pic on the site from where I bought it. And yes, this is the one with 1 root, Still...

It really looks like a compact "mini" bulldog of some kind.

here it is between a nice sized Bulldog and a Glaucophylum that just bloomed

maybe some 'hama chilwin" in it?

the 2nd growth has bud too ..Its overall health is not good though.

you'd be best off contacting the dealer - he's probably the one who mixed up the tags and is most likely to recognize it.

I agree with Ron. The dealer should know what he has which looks like yours and that would narrow down the range of possibilities and even give an exact match.

I agree with you it looks nothing like the one in the link. While there can be variation in hybrids that looks completely different in every way (apart from both being paphs that is).

I can't ID it, either, but maybe these will help???? As you know with so many crosses, you may never get the correct name. I know Graham at Lehua Orchids sells many that "look" like yours. It is a nice looking flower and maybe the size is related to the health/age of the plant. Good luck.

Hey Rocket, I think if you paid good money for that I'd ask them to send you the right plant. Not to say this isn't a nice bloom, it is, but still......

Just a cautionary note to my note above: Many vendors purchase wholesale from Lehua Orchids and resell. So I would get in touch with the original vendor as Ron has said, because if it isn't one of Grahams, you may not hear back anything. Graham sells wholesale and has lots of pictures of his plants on his website so that may be helpful.

Its clearly not the same paph. I agree with the others! Contact the sellers, tell what you got instead of what you we're supposed to have got / bought.

Beautiful complex though

vendor replied to my request and stated...

Those were just taken off the line
???

I am left to assume they just tossed any plant in to fill an order.

so I'll just enjoy the NOID...a its going to bloom the 2nd growth, but the plants a goner as I can tell already its a done four. Get out the fork.
