I have a feeling the use of physan was timed wrong and may have had some influence here, but at the time I had a couple of Catts that developed black rot at the base of new leaves and decided it was better to treat than lose entire plants. And in fact the physan did a great job of eleminating that issue.
It will get another chance to bloom the other mature fan has a new leaf emerging and the new fans are growing better than they did all summer so a little dissappointing not to see a bloom but very happy to see improved growth.
I think the physan did clear up a issue that would have killed the entire plant so Im still happy.
I think you might be right about the Physan I have had it dry out tender new growth (buds) at least think it did it .. but would do it again to stop crud ..
