Default A few paphs

Paph. Dellaina - (delenatii x glaucophyllum)

Paph. (Wellesleyanum x S. Gratrix) - double shot of bellatulum

And last, one I took at a show of something I would have never made... (I'm not entirely convinced it is really true)
Paph. Madeline - bellatulum x argus

Yes, I agree. Great blooms. I notice that there are ribbons in the background, did you take them to a orchid show? Or buy them at a show? If you grew them and got prizes, great job! I'm not brave enough yet to show my orchids, not that I have enough to show anyway.

Picking myself up off the floor. You are a piece of work. I like that in a person.

Hi Puddin

If you belong to your local society and they participate in AOS shows, please don't be intimidated about entering your plants! There's plenty of help available to get them prepaped for a show. Cleaning and staking is all it takes...your club will appreciate your plants for their display. It's not like you get a demerit or anything if it doesn't win a ribbon...but there's always a chance that you'll be pleasantly surprised

Go for it

But don't you have to have a lot of plants to enter a show? All of the ones that I've seen have more plants that I have, and I doubt all of mine will be in bloom at the same time. Or are there places where you only show one plant?

Puddin,

You only need one plant to enter it in a show. Most of the exhibits you see at a show are group efforts put on by an orchid society. A 25sq foot exhibit might have 10 people's plants in it. The rest of the exhibits are either put in by commercial types who have a lot of plants, or hobby growers with more plants than sense (I fall somewhere in between).
