So excited Just checked the orchids this morning, looking for the tiniest changes, and Lo and Behold, in the darkest depths of my paph, is a bud I took a few pics, but don't have a proper macro lens.
I didn't think I'd ever get a rebloom on any of the three paphs in the collection
heres the sad pic [reversed the nifty fifty]
I hope to take more as it grows
Thanks for the reply Rosie Yes, it is hard to tell by the fuzzy pic, but its getting bigger [the bud]
With the three paphs I have, this is the first real encouraging sign.
Gee, it seems to me that there are times when you wait and wonder and just when you think it may never happen, there is a floral surprise. Your time and patience is starting to pay off. Merry Christmas! AL

Thanks Al, but I admit I'm a bit concerned with how it is growing It seems really droopy to me,not sure if this is normal? Here is a poor pic of the bloom.
While I have several Paphs, I don't consider myself even close to an expert. What I have seen among my plants is that some droop because they don't have stiff spikes (IMHO) while others are more upright, especially the bull dog type and still others I wonder if they will ever grow out of the crown!
