Default Paphiopedilum Vill-exul in flower

I bought this Paph on the 20th at a small local 'Orchid Fair' already in flower. It's just taken me a while to get pictures taken and posted. This one was actually Hubby's choice, but I think he picked a wonderful one.

This is a primary hyrbid between Paph villosum and Paph exul... so pretty unimaginately named... but gorgeous for all that.

It also has a second bud growing

Beautiful! I love the spots on the dorsal and how it grades from greenish brown to white.

I think I know what I'm putting on my Christmas wishlist this year! Paphs!!!!!!

Thanks Guys

Evan, this is actually an early Christmas present. As it gets difficult to mail order orchids over the winter and as I want Orchids for Christmas we have to get them early when there are local fairs.

I actually got seven at this show as my Christmas presents. I picked 5 of them and hubby picked 2 that he thought I would like (one of which was one he knows I've been wanting for while ). I've posted pics of the others that are in flower already.
