Hi guys,

This guy opened up his first bloom a day or two ago. I love the color and shape of the dorsal sepal. Had to share!

Two questions:

1. Any chance you could get a picture in natural light?
The reason I ask is because your lighting seems to be making this flower more green than others I've seen, including mine ~ attached picture.

2. Question where you purchased this plant?

I'll see if a can snap a pic in the morning tomorrow in natural light. It's pretty darn green! There's a new little bud growing right behind the first bloom too! See below.

I picked up this guy a while back at the Lymann Estates greenhouse. Love that place.

Very nice J! I like the dark lines running through the dorsal and the petals. Cool looking flower.

Howard it's possible as the flower ages it may become more yellow.

No, it opened yellow and held its color until it died. I have another bud on the same plant but it will be some time before it opens
