I was finally able to snap a pic in the daylight. This pic is way more yellow than the flows really looks - it's a camera phone after all. It's way more green in person. More like the first set of pics.

So this guy bloomed for me until early February of this year. It just pushed out flower after flower - each one ever so much smaller than the one before it. It was in bud or flower for months. Loved it.

Then, in early April, I noticed it was spiking again - this time with two spikes at once! Can't wait for the show.

I have a question for the paph people. Since it's throwing 2 spikes, should I give it extra fertilizer? I know not to double the fertilizer, but should I give it a little more? I'm worried that it will bloom itself crazy and the orchid will suffer. What do you think?

So I treated it the same - I didn't increase the fertilizer. She bloomed just the same. I think the blooms are a tiny bit smaller than last year's, but that could just be because it is now supporting 2 spikes, not just 1. The last picture is of the second bloom. It only opened up today so the dorsal is not as open as it will be in another day or two. I just couldn't wait to share!

His has fast become one of my favorites.
