Default Paphiopedilum Little Alexander

This is one of the two Paph Little Alexander (helenae x gratrixinaum) I have. I think it likes the new greenhouse very much, as it started spiking inmediately after moving in over one month ago (two other buds are to be open). I was very impressed how quick the spike has grown this time The plant has grown very quick in one year and will become an specimen very soon too.. its growing in S/H. Compared to last year (first bloom - see picture below) I think it has improved enough to ensure its place in my collection for a long time

This is its first bloom last year (two flowers): Paphiopedilum Little Alexander N° 1 by kavanaru, on Flickr

P.S.- the second plant is growing in standard medium, has better leave, but its just sitting there and doing nothing else but growing....

That's a keeper for sure Ramon. Nice job! I must have missed somewhere along the way that you have moved. And a new greenhouse! Lucky you!!

Fantastic, Ramon! What a great little specimen. I really like those small species. I made some hybrids with Paph. barbigerum many years ago that had some of this sort of charm. Looks like a real keeper.
