Ooh, really getting close now.

Now my Paph Pinocchio would be open withn a few hours of getting to that stage, my Maudiae (which I think yours is more like) took 4 days to open from that stage... it seemed to take forever by comparison

Wow, cool pics. Is it like my Maudiae... takes days and days to open from the point you first see a sign of cracks in the bud until fully open?

My Bulldog has just shown the first crack in the tip of the bud so I can just see a glimps inside. Still to see how long that one takes to open.

you know I got the bulldog and this one at the same time and about the same budding date. The bulldog been blooming for months now...BUT the bulldog is mostly white. I'm thinking that colors like this one has take longer to build up and display than white. So if your bulldog is complex and colorful could take some time..only thing I can think of given all else is equal..but isnt it fun watching them like they are being Born

I really like fairrieanum hybrids. The overall quality tends to be very good, and they grow tremendously well. Looks like it's going to be a beauty!
