Well done, Rosie. There are some other color forms of Maudiae and a huge number of hybrids with identical growth requirements.
Be forewarned, though - it's a slippery slope! (Lady-slippery, that is...)

Thom,
I'm in the UK so can't help on sources in the USA. I bought this from a UK nursary.
Duanne,
I know about that slipper slope. I just love slippers. I have two Maudiae, two NoID's which are similar to Maudiae but dark purple, a bulldog type (which is starting to produce buds as well) and a Pinocchio which has been producing flower after flower since I bought it in June. I also have a Cyp in the garden and a Phrag in flower in my living room (again bought in flower)

Norman's Orchids ( orchids.com passion for orchids) has some beauties. Here's one that looks really nice: ORCHIDS.COM : SHOP : PAPHIOPEDILUM : DETAIL - in bud for $28
Oak Hill Gardens has a nice green and white type: Oak Hill Gardens - blooming size for $15
Lots of growers have these types, these are just two vendors I'm familiar with who usually have nice stuff.
In the green and white types there are a few classics that are worth the extra money: Claire de Lune 'Edgar Van Belle' and Maudiae 'Bankhaus' (AKA Maudiae 'The Queen' and Maudiae 'Bankhouse') are all outstanding big flowers - super growers. They'll set you back about $100 each - might want to go for a seedling first!
