Smile Paph seedlings any ideas on possible shape/color?

There were quite a few paphs at the auction I just went to and I won a group lot of 4 for $18.00.

One is P. wardii, I googled it and found out what it will look like, plus this one actually has a bud just opening into bloom! See the photo I attached.

Of the other three [see photo below of three together] one is Paph. Dollgoldi which I found many images of, each slightly different but basically I can be expecting gold/yellow blooms with maroon/red striping[?].

The other two are: P. In charm lady 5 flowers x In charm White in charm and:

a P. Dazzler x Romany Gay X Colonist x Happy Dandy.

Also I won for $5.00 a Paph Startler Glacier (Chivalry x Personality); see the photo with the bigger plant and tiny plant next to it- it is the bigger plant with kind of ruffled leaves [is that supposed to be ruffled??]

I have no clue what any except the Dollgoldi and Wardii will look like

Anyone know or have an idea? I have tried googling but haven't found results with the whole names.

Damian,

There is no Startler Glacier registered, but P. Chivalry X P. Personality makes P. Pure Spirit. Possibly it should read Startler 'Glace' AM/AOS. If so, it should be red to mahogany with a 10 cm natural spread. Good buy!

Regards,
Rick

Paph In-Charm Lady= Lady Isabel x glaucophyllum
Paph In-Charm White= White Knight x godefroyae

check out this website: In-Charm Orchids Laboratory

go to new registered name by In-Charm and it will show their newly named crosses and pictures of them...

The other 2 plants are complex hybrids (bulldog types) and can be quite varied. My guess is that they are red spotted types. The foliage with "waves" is indicative of polyploidy in these plants.

Thanks Rick I found a photo of the Startler 'Glace'

I've double checked the tag and it actually says:
Startler 'Glacia'
X
(Chiverly X Personality)
So it could possibly be Startler Glace x Pure Spirt? I couldn't find a photo of Pure Spirit.

Thanks DJ The wardii is my first paph I've ever bought in bud/bloom. Slowly it is opening, and I'm already delighted in the hairyness, colors and spots I can just see..

Thanks Phantasm . It's great to be able to see the parents These complex hybrids amaze me in terms of finding out what they are made of, it is almost like tracing a family tree .

In an orchid's family tree, you get a good idea of what an unbloomed plant should (might) look like. The more dominant traits of the ancestry should appear (in varying degrees) in the offspring. The complexity of all this is really amazing and exciting too.
