You have a great collection of phrags! I love the Inca Embers, the color is amazing! Do you grow many other Phrags?

Talking Phrags

Cracking up at the title of this thread. Phrags do it for me, they melt my butter. Yours are gorgeous, Jerry. My Robert Palm is blooming. I stop and stare at it every time I walk by. Dick Clement blasted. The others declined to even bud. Yet still, I love them. Love is wierd. a greenhouse is coming. Perhaps this will melt THEIR butter. Carol

I have a number of Sorcerer's Apprentice plants from different sources. Some have really long spikes but it mostly seems to depend on how long they decide to stay in flower. Some have bloomed continuously for well over a year and those got quite long. I buy from a number of sources but my favourite is Windy Hill Orchids. Not that the others have been unsatisfactory but I have known Marilyn for many years and have never been disappointed with the plants I have received from her.

I'm not sure I really know how many I have just now. I quit counting at 60 and have found them to be more resistant to "crop rotation" than many other orchids so probably still have 50+.

Good luck with your greenhouse,Carol. I think you will find it will make a great difference.

I'll try and post some more pictures of some of the "many 'slippered' things that are now blooming. Thanks all for the nice replies.
