Default Paph venustum

Well it's not quite in bloom but I am posting the photos for a reason. This flowered last year for the first time on the larger growth as you can see. But the second growth is already flowering but the growth is tiny compared to the first growth. The first flowering was bad - see it at this link:

http://www.orchidboard.com/community...-venustum.html

So I am assuming as the plant is now more mature (3rd growth hidden from view) that it will flower on smaller growths? Does that mean also that the new flower should be better than the aberration in the first flowering?

Thanks
