Default Black Paphs?

Are there any paphs or other orchids in the Cypripedium alliance that have black or near black blooms?

Yes paph vini coloured maudiaes comes to mind first. Choose the ones with the deepest purple tint on the base of the plant, even on the uper surface of the leaf sometimes.
Paph roth-maud also can be deep. Probably the deepest paphs
Give me a moment to think of more

Paph. (Macabre 'HOF' HCC/AOS x glanduliferum '#1') is gorgeous!

I saw a very dark Anhinga once and just bought this guy. It's not in bloom at the moment so the photo is borrowed from the vendor. Labelled as callosum 'Jack' but I think that's wrong?

I just got a new one from Clouds Orchids called Susan Booth x Black Stallion, it's very dark and multi-floral, can't wait for it to bloom. Hoping it will this later this year, I'll post a picture when it does.

Eorchids, your Macabre x glanduliferum is just stunning!

Anhinga is very nice, I love mine.
