I think this is one of my favorite slippers. I love the colors on it, and as a sequential bloomer it will bloom forever not unlike Paph. Pinocchio.

I'd have to agree with you, Terri. The white picotee against the green and then the lavender bucket.... what's not to like!

I love the white halo on it.
I'd prefer this over pinocchio, but my plant is taking forever to grow

Thanks everyone! Glad you like it.

Paula, I wouldn't say it's difficult to grow, or bloom for that matter. It's a bit of a slow grower. Once you cut a spike off you can miss a year blooming because it takes it that long to mature a new growth. Once it does bloom it could bloom continuously for a year or more. So it more than makes up for it in the end.

There are several vendors that carry it.

Woodstream Orchids

Here are a couple I found that carry it. Parkside and Woodstream are out of stock, but it might be worth emailing. I've not ordered from Piping Rock before but have heard good things about them.

Nice growing - great flower. I too, love the longevity of the blooms. I have a Pinocchio alba that I wasn't sure about initially, but have come to love. He's a subtle yellowish color and even got me a ribbon in the last show!
