FINALLY! I first noticed a sheath holding a bud deep in the crown of this parvi cross back in June/July of 2006-bud finally showed with elongated stem in Jan 2007.Yesterday the bud finally opened to show the flower.I was finally able to give a sigh of relief.Notice the light speckling on the pouch--no --that is not fly specks.Since this is just the second day --I'm waiting to see if the colour will change to intensify or change in any way.New growth has already started
