Yep I have it slightly sitting in a tray of hydroton [kiln fired clay balls] that has a few cm of watter in the bottom so it is constantly wicking water and the cork slowly soaks it up keeping the roots just moist.. I do water it every now and then with some seaweed fertiliser though.
