Paph Magic Lantern
Second flowering, the first time it flowered it was pretty average and wasn't a good shape at all. I have grown this anywhere between freezing (32F) and very hot (110F) and it seems to grow well. It has a number of growths and might flower again next year.
This time much better and I think I will hold onto it......

Nice round segments on this one! The staminode is darker than on most clones I've seen...it almost lacks the fiery yellow-orange "lantern flame" that was the namesake for this grex. Very unique!

Thanks guys, it's a bit darker than some of the ones I've grown before. I will keep it growing, it might get awarded one day.
I just noticed a spike forming on another Magic Lantern today so fingers crossed that it turns out to be another good one.

It's very nice. I've been wanting to try out some parvisepalum paphs, and this one's on my list.
I love the shape and color of the flower.
