Hi guys, my joyce hasegawa(delanatii x emersonii)looks as though it is starting to lose its bloom. Are paphs easy to rebloom? What conditions do they need?
This paph will rebloom once it develops a new mature growth. Keeping the humidity higher will help the growths develop faster usually, and let it do its thing. I'm sure it will rebloom for you. Be careful not to let any water get into the centre of the new growths to prevent any sort of rot.
Is this a new arrival? If so sometimes they will abort the bud, especially if they're in high bud, when they suffer a climatic change. I agree with Fren. Make sure it's not too deep.
my joyce hasegawa came with one flower open and the other in high bud. it is possible that it is reacting to environment changes. i am having a real running battle with humidity problems. i am lucky if i get 28% so while i am hopeful, i think i am in for a problem with plant performance.
Well parvis have leathery leaves that are more forgiving of humidity problems. They tend to be slower growing when compared to maudiaes, but they speed up in the summer. Humidity shouldn't be a problem in the summer
