Paph insigne
Talk about PATIENCE!!
This plant I've had for close to 30 yrs but early in 1980 it just went downhill & was on the verge of disappearing altogether.I managed to save a wee bit ( a very small growth) & then in the ensuing years it kept multiplying with teeny, wispy, growths so I kept dividing etc & tossing some bits of it away.I really never thought that the growths would ever grow hale & hearty again but now this is what I got in the late fall. One of my success stories-(very few-).

Great story! My insigne slumps a lot too; it rarely blooms for me. It's a shame - I really like this species.

Winston-it's in a 4" pot.You can see the leaves showing at the front against a backdrop of phrag leaves in photo.I have another 4" pot but who knows how long I'll wait for it to bloom LOL Hopefully next year--no sign yet.
