This one is prettier than the picture indicates. I have a new Nikon CoolPix and the macro feature on it stinks. I'm glad I kept the old Kodak.

It is very pretty I love these types of Paphs. You are right though, the Kodak shot is better.

I will remember the Nikon CoolPix does not have a good Macro when I'm looking for a new camera this year. I've been really pleased with my Cannon compact camera which has a very good 'digital' macro but the flash on it has stopped working and the newer version does not have the same features

Thanks! This is my first complex "bulldog" Paph., and it's first time reblooming for me. Now that I know they'll do OK here I think a few more will be added to the collection.

I think that depends on the camera... my previous Nikon Coolpix 5700 (quite old!) had an excellent macro... now I work with SLR and even though the macro lens is great, I still miss the macro features of my old Nikon...
