Default Paph. Winston Churchill trouble!

I have a Winston Churchill hybrid that has an AWESOME flower, but I can't seem to get it to bloom. My other Paphs bloom just fine, but this plant seems reluctant. It gets good light and stays a bit cooler, but what else should I do?????

How old is your plant, Elliot? Some of these hybrids can take a lot longer than most to bloom.

Kim has a point. Complex hybrids are generally slow growers. If your plant hasn't bloomed yet, it may still need time to mature.

A mature plant can often take two years to mature a new growth and bloom, as well.

Where did you find a Winston Churchill? I've been looking for 'Red Spendour', 'Indomitable', and 'Redoubtable' for a while.

Cheers.

Jim,

If you are interested, Orchid Web in MN has a couple of Winston Churchill cultivars including 'Redoubtable'. They are a bit pricey but seem to be available.
