Dying Paph?
Default Dying Paph?

So, maybe about 5 months ago I got my first paph from an orchid breeder around me. I took care of it how they said there and everything was going good. but the new growth on it turned brown and died, and now the entire center of the plant is turning brown from every leave in the center out. I will try to get a pic of it, but can anyone give me any information.

Sounds like your plant has rot. Not much you can really do about it if all the leaves and the center are brown already. You can try a good dose of hydrogen peroxide. Rot is usually caused by the plant being kept too wet in the middle of the leaf fan or where the leaves meet the mix. These paphs really seem to need good air flow in order not to get the dreaded rot.
Don't feel too bad, anyone that grows paphs gets it sooner than later. My suggestion is go get another paph(or 2, they get lonely) and maybe a fan for good air flow.

What's its name?

Species or hybrid?

If species, what section?
