I received paph michael koopowitz for my birthday two weeks ago. I am wondering how long it takes for the petals get to there full length. Right now they are about 9 inches and haven't changed much. Also they seem really straight compared to pics I've seen.

Hello, and welcome. I forget the exact length of the petals when my MK bloomed earlier this year, but I'm thinking when the bloom first opened and the petals tumbled out the were at least 9 " to start. They probably ended up at about 14-15". I had to put the plant on an inverted pot to keep the 1ST flower's petals from hitting the ground.
Your plant looks very nice.( I wish mine was still blooming) Did you get it in bloom or were you able to see the bud formation and flowering?

Bill

I got it in spike. I still have one last bud that hasn't opened yet.

I love this particular Paph, and yours looks great.

I've never grown one I'm afraid so no idea on the petals.
