Paphiopedilum druryi
My Paph druryi is in bloom now - 3 open flowers, 2 more buds. This is a fun species plant, from Southern India. It takes intermediate temps, medium bright light, easy care. Enjoy!

Nice one, Don. I wanted to get one of these last winter but wasn't sure if it's hard to grow. I just know they need pretty high light.

Nicely grown, I have seen them for sale here but didn't know their requirements so have held off. I saw someone the other day pay over $200 for a seedling on Ebay.

My plant is 8 years old - bought it a couple years ago from Gold Country Orchids in Lincoln CA USA. It does like lots of light and has been happy at my windowsill with intermediate temps. I fertilize once a week, half strength (less in winter). I have mostly been using Maxsea - made here in CA from seaweed - organic, with good amounts of micro-nutrients. Anyway, this plant seems to be happy! Cheers all!
