Hi Emily, My supersuk didn't bloom this year either. It also had a new growth which was certainly big enough to flower. I was thinking I didn't have enough of a temperature drop at night during the fall. Mine had bloomed the previous 2 years between Thanksgiving(US) and Christmas.
Putting it outside should be fine as long as it's in the shade and has enough water. The constant breezes outside can dry the plant quickly.
Good luck, Bill
my supersuk and supersuk/macabre are fall bloomers. I keep them inside all year. My house (log cabin) gets hot in the summer -upper 80s somedays- and then once temps consistently drop back down to mid 70s or less it blooms- around october
I have all my paphs planted in spagnum in clay pots, and they are all consistent bloomers
