Paph niveum var. Ang Thong
Hi Everyone
Just wanted to post a pic of a new bloom in my garden this week. Picked this one up last december and the grower recommended I pick this specific plant. He had given the base a squeeze and showed me how you can feel the developing bud inside even though it was not visible yet. Couple months later, and here it is in all it's glory.

Gorgeous, Nick! Nice choice. I love niveum. This one is really beautiful. Just love the speckling, as if they've been dusted with spices.

Very nice flower Nick but not Ang-thong, its a straight niveum. Ang-Thong is a natural hybrid between niveum and godefroyae, also known as P.Greyi for the man made version. The flower shape and markings are much different to yours. Don't worry though as yours is very good as a niveum.

I'd love to know how big the plant is. I may have an opportunity to get a flask of these but I want to keep to plants that are "compact".
