Paphiopedilum Rosy Dawn - Orchid Board

This is the only white Paph I grow. I'd like to add other white but they are really rare to find here. This time the flower segments are too wavy.

It's a really nice white paph.

But I also think that it would be even better if the sepals were a bit flatter

I agree with you, Camille. But I'm affraid it is not going to be better than this. Take a look at an earlier flowering, it is the same thing

Wow, to me it looks like two different plants! In your more recent pic the bloom looks very white and much less waxy than the older pic. Must be the lighting that gives that appearance.

Very nice one, Mauro. I also have a Rosy Dawn -- one of my very favourites. I thought "wavy petals" on Rosy Dawn were a good thing!

It's not bad, Shirley! I believe that in this case the too wavy petals distorted a little the overall look o the flower
