I bought this paph in bloom last year at about this time of year. Since lots of you here at orchidboard are huge paph enthusiasts, do any of you think this paph will send out a flower spike soon? (maybe after this leaf finishes growing?)
Here are two picture, one from the front, and the other from the side showing last years growth.
This is it blooming last March:
When it's ready to bloom it will stop sending out new leaves and you'll be able to feel the flower spike down in the base of the leaves (they won't feel flat anymore) - pinching Paphs is a favorite activity!
You know your an orchid addict when you would rather pinch your Paphs than something else !
Good luck, the plant looks big enough and since it's already bloomed you should be seeing another one soon.

It depends of your water conductance. If it was too high (means here >800 µS), it could grow only new shoots. But the time for blooming deperle's is near, mostly between March and May.
