On 2/5 I posted a thread asking what a helicopter type paph was. No-one posted a reply. Maybe I haven't waited long enough or we don't have any experts. At any rate I found the answer my self. Clackamas-Orchids in Oregon told me that the Paph. hainanense is referred to as a "helicoper type", which means: "it is reference to the paddle shaped petals on this section of the paphiopedilum" So now we all know.....does that make us experts?
Well... I'm a phaph addict in training... does that count for anything?
It's a bit funny that I was browsing some online stores and refreshing the orchid board in the mean time... and I was just eyeing some paph seedlings from Clackamass.
