Default Helicopter Type Paph???

My friend has a Paph hainanense and was referred to as a "helicopter type". What does that mean? Did a google search but couldn't anything about helicopter type paphs. Thanking in advance those in the know!

P. hainanense is a variation of P. bullenianum.
"Helicopter type"... never heard such description.

A helicopter paph is the type you get when you run the fans in your greenhouse at too high a speed.

Barkeria Cyclosky: (Bark. cyclotella x skinneri)

Unusual lavender flowers that last for months; nick-named the Helicopter orchid.

I've seen a reference to Paphs Hainanense and Appletonianum as helicopter type paphs. Maybe because the stems of the flowers are so long, the flower seems to hover above the plant....or maybe because the petals look like blades? Seems a strange analogy.
