Smile Paph.delenatii in bud

This has been in bud for about 3 weeks now- growing more each day. Hope to see a flower in 2-3 weeks.

My delenatii's also in bud, and at about the same stage of development. First bloom for this particular plant, and I can't wait to see it open! Do you keep yours slightly drier in winter? I've read conflicting culture advice on varying sites.

Hi Stephen, I pretty much water it twice a week all year long. This time of year if it's cloudy all week, I will skip a watering cycle. My guys are probably damper in winter than they are in the summer. I'll put them outside in the shade of a breezeway, and the water evaporates a lot quicker.
