Default Paphs & Virus

Over the years, I have heard that Paphs can not be infected with the common orchid viruses. I have also heard a number of different reasons why that is true. I can't remember ever seeing a Paph exhibiting symptoms of viral infection. Would someone please tell me if that statement is true and and if so, why. What about Phrags? Thanks.

Jerry, I also have heard that Paphs can get virus but have yet to see one after 40+ years of growing orchids.
If one of the experts that say that Paphs get virus and show one with it then I will believe it fully.
