I better start taking better care of mine.

What exactly is blooming sized with this plant? mine is almost five inches across and starting a new growth but it doesn't seem to do much else. I have found it to be quite intolerant of dryness, i have it planted in moss inside of a two inch by four inch tall pot. Is it normal for new growths to be produced a distance from the parent plant?
This photo makes me drool!
Notice the small sizes of the plants

Paph. micranthum was one of my favorite Paphs. I have had one for over 10 years. This plant grew and died back and started growing back again. Having said that, it never bloomed on me. Since I paid $75, that is the only reason I am keeping it.

I hear that they prefer colder temperatures in winter in order to assist blooming, maybe that was the issue?

Hi...I grow and bloom a lot of Paphs. but not this one. I've had this for three years, last year it had sheath but blasted on me, this year it has a good size sheath it just sits there, been like this for 4 or 5 months I keep it dryer, but it's hard for me to get a big temp drop it's in the basement, quess I'll just keep watching it. Good luck with yours. Jim.
