Default Paph charlesworthii

The only thing I don't like about this flower is the green color break on the right side of the dorsal . It is a first bloom though; hopefully the flower will improve in the future.

Thanks for looking!

Joe

Hiya Joe, I just got done seeing your post of this exact thread on Slippertalk 5 seconds ago. I couldn't post a reply there because I don't have a username over there.

Anyhoo....I see what you mean by the color break. You slipper people are so hard on your slippers

I'm still working on getting some more slippers so any bloom is fantastic to me

Hi Joe,

While I can see the color break on teh right, I still think it is a beautiful bloom! Well done from my perspective.

I just started getting into paphs this past year, and now have about 16 or so. I believe this species is going on my wish list. Thanks for your post.

Lol I know what you mean by being hard on the plants. I never used to be like that either... but once you've been growing for a long time and have seen a lot of blooms you start to get higher and higher standards. Plus, I want to win some awards! That green streak takes points off and is probably the difference between award quality and non-award quality with the flower. But, it does have potential, and hopefully as the plant ages it will prodice better blooms!
