Paph. Tinicum

Really excited by this little guy: Paphiopedilum Tinicum (concolor x moquettianum). Not only is it my first time blooming it, but it has three blooms open at once on a single spike! The colors are kinda hard to capture in a photo. There's a lot more pink and apple-green than appears in my shot.

Oh, yeah, baby! That's what I'm talkin' about! Fantastic and this guy is officially on my buy list for 2009. Colors can be particularly hard to capture without total control over the results starting at the camera (correct white balance) moving through the download software or process ending with a color-calibrated monitor and extensive experience in Photoshop. You came pretty close though. If you want a color-calibrated, accurate photo for your own files, just e-mail me a raw image from your camera or a non-jpeg image (depending on your camera) and I will post process and e-mail back to you. Let me know.
