I love that combo as well. I have a mini Paph niveum that has similar coloration and multiple blossoms. A real joy.

I do just love it, Whygreenbeurg! I think it has really lovely coloration. . .can't wait to see it when it blooms.
Ross, I'd love to see a photo of your niveum. . .here. . .to compare to this one when it blooms. I think it's so interesting to see the blooms of the parents and how it is reflected in the hybrid!

Hi Gmdiaz,
Thanks for sharing your paph photos...I'm looking forward to full blooms.
I just made a big mistake on two of mine, so I'll have to enjoy others' until I get new spikes. My first two to put up spikes...multifloral at that...and I accidentally broke both off trying to stake them. I was soooo upset.
At least now I know to never, ever, ever try and stake a paph. spike again. I don't care what direction they're going in. For all I know they may have straightened themselves out anyway. At least I'm able to learn from my experiences.

David, I leave my staking quite late - and only if I'm going to take it to a show.
Its really frustrating when something that you're so anticipating breaks! I know how you feel! We have all done that....
