Try looking for Paph Hsinying Alien which is the registered name for the cross of Paph Raisin Pie X Paph Supersuk. It is a complex hybrid with varying percentages of five species in it. This will create the possibility of a great variation in forms and color ranges.

I found the cross on google, heres a link to the photo. I remember it now, I guess it was a different cross.

Even so, yours )and I suspect most, would say yours isn't the same hybrid as mine. Not sure who is correct, but mine is the parent of one side of the cross.

All I can say is "WOW!" You guys have growing paphs down to a science!!!!! Bravo!!!!
Ross, I'm going to print out that picture and paste it in front of all 5 of my paphs and then they will see what they are suppose to be doing! I know Maine is called the "Vacationland State," but my guys are taking advantage, I think. The other morning I was looking at them real close and I spotted one of those little umbrellas that you find in exotic drinks propped up near my Paph delenatii and I could swear it was leaning over a bit much. Very suspicious!

John,
Thanks for supplying the registered name of the cross. It's appreciated.

Hummm...I think mine was a bit more greenish then yours is Ross. I can't recall though so I will have to wait for it to open I guess.
I was also asking if they can bloom more then one flower from one stem? I know some Paphs can, but wasn't sure if this one could. It almost looks like two buds forming. Also, do the buds split a little on the underside when they are forming? That is why I think it looks like 2 buds developing.
Thanks everyone for your replies!

This is what my Paph. Hsinying Alien looked like in Feb. and it is in spike now, so it does bloom more then once a year. I've had it judged and that is the right cross.

I have one too. My cross is a Paph. Raisin Pie 'Hsinying') x Sib (Paph. Supersuk 'Eureka' AM/AOS x
Googling I found different ways that it was written. some were referenced as supersuk first. I know this probably makes a difference, but how?
