They look good, but there were a lot of rotten roots, the bark they were potted in was very badly decomposed.

These came in today from Orchids by Hausermann, Paph Geoffrey Hands (roths x tigrinum). Now this is what a NBS roths hybrid should look like!

Sorry to hear that. I often have the same problem. This is a disadvantage of buying plants via Internet. But sometimes it is the only opportunity to buy them.

These came in today from Carter and Holmes. I ordered a bunch of bare-root dugups, and was expecting fairly small seedlings. The plants they sent were huge, and they threw in two free bonus plants!

Front row: Pinnochio, Clifton Booth, Jerry Spence, PEoY
Back Row: Oberhausen's Diamant, St Swithin, Transdoll

The plants look great but I know when you think NBS, you expect that you might get a large plant. Just like Cheryl said you just have to keep those babies growing and see I rather myself go to the vendor myself and see for myself but if you can't then you have to do mail order.

Tony, those look great!! I think in your back row, I have 2 already, the St. Swithin and Oberhausens. I had gotten them from our orchid society auction and they were from JEM orchids when they closed the nursery here in FL

I have two of O's Diamant, a big one from JEM and this one from C&H. I also have two of the St Swithin from C&H, both were bonus plants from my orders. They may not be too far from blooming, they're made with philippinense var laevigatum, which I believe is a more compact form.

One of my friends back home sent me this today. It's Paph Hsinying Emerald, a nice Maudiae type, and it's in sheath.

Holy smokes Tony....where are you putting all these new plants? I might be able to squeeze a couple in my room for you...you know...I'd babysit.

I just ordered a Paph supardii seedling today and I will pick it up next weekend when i go to Schreiber's Orchids open house. Can't wait!
