Mr. Freckles finally opened... it was a long wait, but a worthy one

...and the plant is so tiny but somehow lazy looking... the spike cannot hold the flower, so it is just hanging there..

Beautiful flower, Ramon. Mind giving some data on how you're growing it? Light, temperatures, frequency of watering, any lime in the pot (it does like an alkaline mix, yes?)?

Gorgeous! Bellatulum yes? Notorious for having weak stems and difficult to bloom. Nice job!

it is growing in S/H, on a south-west windowsill, so that they get enough sun during the afternoon. However, Paph bellatulum grows behind an oncidium and therefore gets a bit less light. The window is slightly open all the time day and night all year long, so that in summer temps vary from 24-26°C to 20-21°C (day to night) and in winter from 18-21°C to 15-19°C (more or less). I water all my S/H plants at least once a week with RO Water and Peters Excel for RO water (13-5-20)

to be honest I did not know that... I got this plant in March this year, and it's doing very fine here... let's see what happens next year it is already putting two new shoots
