Default Paphiopedilum Rothschildianum

I recently bought a Paph Rothschildianum and a hybrid between it and Philippinense called St. Swithin. The plants have been neglected for the last five months due to the previous owners illness. They were growing in a warm enviorment but were located underneath some benches so the newest growths off them are weak. How much light should I Grow them in in order to help strenghthen the new leaves but prevent from burning the older growth? When should I repot, as the mix deteriorates or after it is very far gone? Do they require a lot of water? Does anybody have either of these plants and can tell me about their conditions?

I would not repot immediately unless the mix is in a bad state.
The plants need bright, but reflected light and good air movement.
Temperature is on the high side with an average of 28 C on summer days and 16 C during night times
Humidity should be high, but air movement must be good
Never over water the plants. Water usually goes with growing mix. When the mix deteriorates it tends to keep more water and that will not be good for the roots as a too wet environment is a good place for all sorts of pests and diseases.
I hope this will help a little.

Since I'm no expert with any of the orchids, I never mean to step on toes but I must refer this thread to this reference which I trust will be helpful: AOS | Paphiopedilum

I grow my St.Swithin inside under the high end of lighting, enuff to keep the catts happy. I grow it warm, up to the mid eighties during the summertime and keep it pretty moist since it grows more during this time. It isn't a fast grower by any means, this one takes time.
During the winter months daytime mid 70's, nightime to the higher end of 60's.

I repot every 9 months, I don't let the mix go stale.
50% peatmoss - 25% small bark & 25% of perlite.
I fan durning the daytime everyday.
